I have been exposed to the running of a business from a very young age. I have been in the hospitality business most of my working career. I am passionate about Rhapsody’s and my goal now is to grow the group into the most formidable dining and entertainment group on the continent. I get along well with people and consider myself a peoples person. We have a huge following of regular
clientele which frequent both our stores trading in Pretoria. I like to think that I am a forward thinker and work well under time
constraints.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Came straight out of school and joined the new family business which was the Protea Driving School. I ran the operation with my mom and cousin (George) and we built the business into the biggest driving school country, within seven years we had a fleet of forty vehicles. My burning desire was to be in the hospitality business and in 2001 I opened News Café Menlyn with which we enjoyed great success winning best News Café SA 2002, 2003 and 2004. As we grew my cousin and I identified the Rhapsody’s brand soon opened Rhapsody’s Mnelyn, which remains to be the flagship of the group and it is in its fifth year of trading.
2003- Established Rhapsody’s Menlyn. 50% Shareholder Rhapsody’s Menlyn currently in its 5th year of trading.
2006- Established Rhapsody’s Centurion. 25% Shareholder Rhapsody’s Centurion currently in its 2nd year of trading.
2008- Acquire 25% of Rhapsody’s franchise Group.

ACHIEVEMENTS
2002 - News Café - Menlyn - Franchisee of the year, Bar of the year award.
2003 - News Café - Menlyn - Franchisee of the year, marketing Store of the year.
2004 - Rhapsody’s - Menlyn - Franchisee of the year.
2005 - Rhapsody’s - Menlyn - Franchisee of the year.
2006 - Rhapsody’s - Menlyn - Franchisee of the year.
